 Ancient Spanish Monastery
Built in Segovia, Spain in 1141, the Monastery Cloister is the oldest building in the Western Hemisphere. Newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst brought the pieces to America, and in 1952 Miami developers reassembled the monastery on its current site.
 Art Deco Historic District
The nation's largest 20th Century National Register Historic District. The area features more than 800 historic buildings erected during the 1920s and 1930s, and contains a variety of architectural styles.
 Biscayne National Park
A 53-foot glass-bottom boat and a 45-foot diving and snorkeling catamaran takes adventurers across southern Biscayne Bay, through wilderness, mangrove creeks, islands, and out to tropical coral reefs teeming with sea life. Family snorkeling and scuba diving available from the boat. Canoe and kayak rentals, picnic area, walking trails, fishing, camping and shower facilities available. Reservations required. Beautiful waterfront visitor center offers exhibits, films and information.
 Biscayne Nature Center
Offers hands-on marine exploration, coastal hammock hikes, fossil-rock reef walks, local history lectures and beach walks. Marine exploration trips scheduled at low tide only. All trips led by naturalist guide.
 Cauley Square Historic Village
This nostalgic village offers a glimpse of Old South Florida at its best. Its quaint cottages have been restored into a labyrinth of antiques, boutiques and specialty shops, featuring unique items to delight the discerning shopper. The garden paths invite guests to casually stroll in the shade, making this a perfect setting for a private gathering or an unforgettable wedding. The famous Tea Room Restaurant and The Latin Corner & Notes on Vine offer a delicious menu.
 Coopertown Airboat Rides and Restaurant
Offering airboat rides and alligator exhibitions since 1945. Professional guides lead tours through Hardwood Hammock to see national wildlife in its native Everglades environment. Just 11 miles west of Florida' s Turnpike.
 Coral Castle Inc.
This quirky monument is one of Greater Miami's more unusual attractions. Giant pieces of coral rock were carved into a variety of objects by Edward Leedskalnin in the 1920s, as a tribute to unrequited love. The construction techniques behind this mystery garden of fantastic coral sculptures continue to baffle experts and visitors.
 Coral Gables Merrick House
This is the boyhood home of George E. Merrick, founder and developer of the City of Coral Gables. This historic landmark house originally began as an 1899 frame house which was added onto in 1907. The house has been restored to the 1920s period and filled with the Merrick family's art, furniture and personal treasures.
 Deering Estate at Cutler
One of the most beautiful and unique parks in South Florida. More than 420 acres, offering tours of endangered natural areas, historic and archeological sites, recreational facilities and a breathtaking view of Biscayne Bay. The park also contains the historical remnants of the Richmond Cottage, portions of which date back to 1896, and the Mediterranean Revival winter home of Charles Deering, completed in 1923.
 Espanola Way Association
This historic Spanish village, built amid the romance and frivolity of the early 1920s, became the center for those with a bohemian nature. Artists, writers, musicians and dancers made this charming area the center for all that was exciting and new. Today, 80 years later, it is once again the home of those seeking a bohemian lifestyle. Its unusual shops, restaurants and art galleries attract residents and visitors alike. Dine at a Spanish, French or Italian restaurant amid Mediterranean architecture.
 Everglades Alligator Farm

 Everglades National Park

 Schnebly Redland's Winery
This winery in the Redland tropical countryside offers tours and wine tastings around natural coral waterfalls surrounded by lush tropical foliage. Visitors can compare the taste of lychee, passion fruit, carambola, guava and mango wines, just to name a few. This is the southernmost winery in the Continental U.S., handcrafting tropical wines without using grapes.
