Au pair is a French term meaning "on par." Au pairs live as an extended member of a host family and provide childcare in exchange for room, board and a small stipend.
An au pair's responsibilities can include :
** bringing the children to school and picking them up ** interacting and playing with the children ** helping with homework
** perform light housework associated with the children such as helping to keep their rooms clean or cooking light meals.
